Glendora : Firm to Help Find Chief
The City Council on Tuesday selected Sacramento-based Ralph Anderson & Associates to find a police chief for the city.
City Manager Art Cook recommended the consulting firm as the most experienced, saying it has helped 13 cities find chiefs, including Chino, Pasadena and Inglewood.
Cook said the city will pay Anderson about $11,000 and will receive a ranked list of candidates to replace the retiring Oliver B. Posey in 2 1/2 to three months.
The council discussed the hiring in closed session but voted in open session. Councilmen David Bodley and Bob Kuhn voted against the measure without comment.
