Danton Rissner has been named executive vice president of European production at Paramount Pictures in Los Angeles.
Rissner is based in London and will report to John Goldwyn, president of production for Paramount’s Motion Picture Group.
A former production executive at both MGM/UA and Twentieth Century Fox, Rissner most recently was executive producer of Paramount’s upcoming release, “School Ties.”
Paramount Pictures is a unit of New York-based Paramount Communications.
