ORANGE : Trustees OK Change in Meeting Schedule
- Share via
The Orange Unified School District Board of Trustees have voted to change their monthly meeting schedule, replacing one formal session with a community study session.
The matter was approved unanimously and without comment as an item on the consent agenda, which usually includes routine bookkeeping matters.
Traditionally, the seven-member board has met in formal twice-monthly sessions during the school year.
The new schedule will consist of one formal meeting each month and one study session that will include a consent agenda to be approved by the board and one or two subjects to be considered by the trustees, community members and experts.
The next board meeting is March 12 at 7:30 p.m. The first study session may be held as early as March 26, a district spokeswoman said.
