TV Ratings : ‘Fish Police’ Can’t Get Arrested

Share

Even without the Winter Olympics, CBS won the prime-time ratings race last week, the A.C. Nielsen Co. reported Tuesday. Its margin of victory was considerably smaller, however: CBS averaged 13.3 overall, compared to NBC’s 13, ABC’s 12.4 and Fox’s 9.8.

In another blow to the future of prime-time animation, CBS’ “Fish Police” got a less than rousing reception Friday night, finishing 77th among the week’s 90 prime-time network programs. Tied at No. 77 was another CBS newcomer, “Scorch.” Two other series debuts fared only slightly better: CBS’ “Boys of Twilight” on Saturday was No. 68, while NBC’s “Nightmare Cafe” on Friday was No. 69.
