Turner Says He Doesn’t Want Orion: The chairman of Turner Broadcasting System Inc. said his company is not interested in buying any of the major television networks or troubled Orion Pictures Corp. Ted Turner also disputed reports that New York-based CBS Inc. is up for sale. “My cable partners have told me they want me to concentrate on cable programming, and I have no problem with that,” Turner said. A majority of Atlanta-based Turner Broadcasting’s stock is owned by a group of cable operators, including Tele-Communications Inc. and Time Warner.
