Enough Said on Jail Topic
After millions of dollars and years of studies, it is impossible to believe that anything new can be added to the debate over the Todd Road jail site. I am calling for the County Board of Supervisors to take immediate action and get on with it.
We need the jail, the site has been purchased, and $31 million of state money is in jeopardy. What else is there to say that can justify this delay in final approval?
It should truly concern all the citizens of Ventura County that a few unhappy souls can exert this kind of political pressure on our elected officials and delay a project that is so important to the safety and protection of us all.
