Sanchez-Silver--An August wedding is planned by Lourdes Sanchez and Norman Silver Jr. She is the daughter of Oscar and Marilyn Sanchez of Torrance and is a student at El Camino College. Silver is the son of Norman Silver Sr. of Reno, Nev., and Bernice Schuls.

Plunkett-Kalmey--Theresa and Joseph S. Plunkett of San Pedro have announced the engagement of their daughter, Terri Jo, to Robert W. Kalmey, both of San Francisco. Miss Plunkett is a graduate of Cal State Los Angeles. Kalmey, a graduate of Lehigh University, in Bethlehem, Pa., is the son of Patricia and Dr. Robert Kalmey of St. Thomas, Pa. They will marry March 14 at Wayfarers’ Chapel, Rancho Palos Verdes.
