Oil Pipe Spill Fouls Creek

EDGEMONT, Pa. —
A ruptured pipeline sprayed up to 100,000 gallons of heating oil, polluting nearby Chester Creek, officials said. The Sun Co. pipeline ruptured Wednesday night in a sparsely populated residential area. Volunteer firefighters built several dams to help contain the spill.
