Presidential Candidates

Share

I find it amazing that here we go once again. All our so-called presidential candidates, including the incumbent, seem to have all the answers to our problems while campaigning, but as usual once elected, their memories seem to fade. I would really like to hear at least one candidate who has one fresh idea about what this country really needs, instead of the same old hogwash we get every four years.

I would like to see the President be elected to one six-year term and not be able to run for reelection; that way he can concentrate on doing the job he was hired to do. Our U.S. senators should be elected to serve no more than two terms.

I would like to see the President as well as Congress obey the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. If the children of today were taught these in school, they would wonder how all these politicians have been sidestepping and thumbing their noses at the Constitution for so long without the people removing the whole crooked bunch from office.

Instead of “bashing” Japan, Germany, and other countries because they are doing so well, why don’t we take a real close look as to why and how they are doing so well, and learn from them?

I would love to hear some fresh ideas from any of our so-called presidential candidates; this is long overdue.
