Lost and Found: Four oil paintings by 16th- and 17th-Century masters stolen from the Louvre in Paris between 1979 and 1982 have been recovered. Police in France said two businessmen have been arrested for possession of stolen goods; the thieves were being sought on Monday. The recovered works include “The Card Players” by the Le Nain brothers, “Amphibious Animals” by Jan Van Kessel, “Saint Christopher” by Jerome Bosch and a landscape by Adrien Brouwer.
