Albee Plea: An attorney for Edward Albee has asked a judge in Miami to dismiss an indecent exposure charge against the 64-year-old Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright. Albee was cited in January after police officers spotted him sitting naked on a beach frequented by nude sunbathers. The charge carries up to a year in jail and a $1,000 fine. The attorney entered an innocent plea, saying genital exposure isn’t against the law unless it’s done in a vulgar or indecent way. The judge did not immediately rule on the request.
