San Dimas : Forum on Learning Center
A public forum will be held today to gather input on a proposed San Dimas 2000 Learning Center.
The center would reflect President Bush’s America 2000 educational goals, in which business and community leaders band to help restructure education.
Planners envision a learning center that would be open to children, adults and senior citizens and contain the latest high-tech learning programs. To accomplish this, community and business leaders would work closely with existing San Dimas schools.
The forum, organized by the San Dimas Chamber of Commerce, will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Civic Center’s Stanley Plummer Building.
