Olan Randle Robison, 46, convicted of killing three people, including a visiting British woman and her fiance, was executed by lethal injection at the Oklahoma penitentiary at McAlester. Robison was convicted in the 1980 killings of Robert Swinford, Averil Joan Bourque and Julia Shela Percival Lovejoy during a burglary of a farmhouse east of Velma in south-central Oklahoma. Lovejoy, a Briton, was visiting Bourque prior to her planned wedding to Swinford. Robison was the second prisoner executed in Oklahoma this week. Robyn Leroy Parks was executed earlier for the 1977 shooting death of a service station worker.
