Two Costa Mesa Agencies Top AdClub Contest
Award winners were announced last weekend at the Orange County AdClub’s 34th annual contest.
Best-of-show awards went to Nickel Advertising, a one-man agency run by Randy Nickel in Costa Mesa, and Salvati Montgomery Sakoda of Costa Mesa.
Newport Beach-based Galusha & Associates was singled out by judges for a special design award for stationery it created for a corporate client.
Gold medal winners included Salvati Montgomery, which won two golds; Steven Ricker, a Cypress College student; Anderson & Johnson in Irvine; Forsythe Marcelli Johnson Advertising in Newport Beach; Galusha & Associates; Gloria Zigner & Associates in Costa Mesa; KTA Advertising in Santa Ana; Madison West in Newport Beach; Nickel Advertising; Patton & Malone in Costa Mesa, and Thom Surman in Orange.
