Video Rental Chart : ‘Thelma & Louise’ Hale & Hearty

“Thelma & Louise” just might stay on top of the Billboard magazine rental chart beyond the end of the month, thanks to the lack of strong competition. “Regarding Henry” moved up to second, but is running out of steam. “Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man” seems to have clicked with the action fans in the rental market, zooming to No. 8; during its short stay in the nation’s theaters, it didn’t click with anyone.
* There’s plenty of life in “Freddy’s Dead: The Final Nightmare,” supposedly the last installment of the “Nightmare on Elm Street” series. This one debuted at No. 15.
