Beverly Hills High

Meyers states that West Beverly Hills High School in “Beverly Hills 90210” does not reflect reality 100% at the real Beverly Hills High School. As one example she says “expensive cars seem to grow on trees” at West Beverly while the majority at Beverly are not Porsches and Corvettes. Some are even BMWs and Jeeps. (These are inexpensive?) I can see why she would be upset.

She also states that some students have worked and saved for years to be able to buy their own cars. What kind of a job (part time, I assume) allows them to save $30,000 or more (not counting insurance, etc.) by age 16? It must pay rather well. This is reality?
