Kate Nelligan won supporting actress honors as the brassy waitress in “Frankie & Johnny,” and Alan Rickman was the supporting actor winner as the Sheriff of Nottingham in “Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.” “Bugsy,” “JFK” and “The Prince of Tides,” which are Oscar contenders, were ineligible because they had not yet opened in London.
