Joining the Group: George C. White, founder and president of the Eugene O’Neill Theater in Waterford, Conn., has been confirmed by the Senate to serve on the National Council on the Arts. The 26-member presidentially appointed body of artists, arts administrators and patrons advises the National Endowment for the Arts on programs and procedures and makes recommendations on grant applications.
