Officers Seek Youth’s Killer

Los Angeles police were searching Sunday for the killer of a 17-year-old boy who was shot in the parking lot of a Sun Valley liquor store.
The victim, whose name was not released pending notification of relatives, was found about 10:30 p.m. Saturday with a gunshot wound to the upper body, Officer Joseph Napolitano said. The teen-ager died later at Pacifica Hospital of the Valley.
Napolitano said police knew of no motive in the shooting and had no information about the attackers.
