Claude Maxime, 55, a hairdresser whose clients included Brigitte Bardot and French First Lady Danielle Mitterrand and who at her death had 50 franchised salons around the world. Ms. Maxime opened her first salon in Paris in 1965, and quickly acquired a clientele of high-society matrons, film stars and fashion industry figures. She went on to open several other salons in France and franchise operations abroad. On Saturday in a traffic accident outside Paris.
