Sockers Open Playoff Series Wednesday at Sports Arena
The Sockers will open their seven-game Major Soccer League semifinal series at the Sports Arena Wednesday, then play Game 2 Friday, April 10.
The Sockers have secured the top seeding in the playoffs, and Dallas has clinched second, but there are four teams still alive for the final two playoff spots as the season enters its final weekend.
As it stands, the Sockers would open against Wichita (18-20). But depending on the outcome of games Friday and Saturday, the Sockers also could open against Cleveland (19-19), Baltimore (18-21), or Tacoma (17-21).
Tickets for Games 1 and 2 are now on sale as are playoff “season” tickets for all eight possible home games.
