OH SAY PLAY BALL: The baseball fans attending the Angels’ home opener at 6:05 tonight against the Chicago White Sox get a double celebrity bonus. Matt Keough, above, the Angels pitcher recovering from a line drive to the head during the preseason, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch. Also, Davis Gaines, the phantom in “Phantom of the Opera,” will sing the National Anthem. But he won’t stick around for the game. . . . He has to helicopter back to the Ahmanson Theatre for his nightly performance.
