Adelaide Holdings Inc., inventor of the french-fry vending machine, has found a customer--the nation’s fighting forces.

It signed a 10-year agreement with Milcon International, a purchasing agent for the armed forces, to place Adelaide’s machines on U.S. military bases around the world.

The contract calls for the armed forces to buy 500 units annually over 10 years--or 5,000 units. It is worth more than $52 million.
