County Cutting Hours at Many Facilities

The hours and days of operation at various county facilities are being scaled back to save money during the county’s continuing budget crunch. The cutbacks will continue until June 29, said Bob Lerner, a spokesman for the county.

Beginning next Friday, three North County Municipal Court branches will reduce their hours. The Vista and San Marcos courts will close at 3 p.m. Mondays and Fridays, and the Escondido court will close at 1 p.m. Fridays.
