Rhapsody for AIDS: The rock group Queen donated $1.7 million to a British AIDS charity Wednesday to help fight the disease that killed lead singer Freddie Mercury. The money given to the Terrence Higgins Trust came from royalties from the group’s 1975 hit “Bohemian Rhapsody,” re-released following Mercury’s death in November. It has been rediscovered after the hot-wheeling “Wayne’s World” featured it in a key scene.
