Mixing Messages in the Tyson Case

“Fans Just Don’t Get the Message” seems to be 180 degrees out of phase with reality. Abcarian appears not to have gotten the message.

What she fails to appreciate is that not everyone agrees with the jury verdict in that case. Even the jury had misgivings. Two jurors appeared in cable news interviews after disposition of the case to report that the jury would have found Tyson not guilty had his defense counsel not called him to testify.

This poses the question: Did the facts convince the jury or did Tyson’s personality and manner of speaking do him in? Whatever, there is at least some room an alternative view.
