The courts will accept only tickets issued in Los Angeles County, Burbank Deputy Clerk Luis Blass said. No parking tickets, citations for driving under the influence or suspended license violations will be accepted. Citations received after April 1, 1991, do not qualify for amnesty, he said.

Drivers who wish to take advantage of the discount can also call the Burbank court at (818) 500-3463 or the Newhall court at (805) 253-7317 to find out the amount they owe. Fines paid by mail must be postmarked by April 30. Personal checks will not be accepted.

Municipal Courts in Culver City, Compton, Downey and Los Angeles will also be open Saturday.
