Outrage Over King Verdict

The jurors in Simi Valley must have been smoking funny stuff in the jury room since it impaired their vision and their thinking. Rodney King was badly beaten. He was not a fleeing felon. He was not fighting--”resisting arrest.” Yet, magically, they could not find what a grand jury and the police chief had already found--that is, that several officers acted illegally in the arrest of King. So much for “foolproof” evidence.
