Hot Line Activated to Update Residents

SANTA ANA — Orange County officials have established a hot line to help provide up-to-date information and dispel rumors about what is happening in the county.
Orange County Fire Capt. Dan Young said the hot line is being handled by the county’s Emergency Operations Center, which was activated early Thursday and will continue to be manned during the next few days.
The phone number to the center is (714) 834-2331.
Young said the hot line was set up to help dispel the numerous rumors that have been received in Orange County. He said that as of late Thursday, the county was “mostly quiet.”
