A Gamble That Failed

Oxnard Union High School District Supt. Ian Kirkpatrick should be immediately fired.
He spent $100,000 on a gamble based on the hope that people would not notice his little specially engineered, single-issue election. The word got out; it failed.
Even worse, he has further increased the district costs by seizing land without prior voter approval of the bonds. This kind of autocratic activity is just one more reason for the low level of voter respect for politicians and their hirelings.
