The Rams signed nine free agents, including veterans Don Bracken, a punter; linebacker A.J. Jenkins and defensive end Derrick Carr.
Others signed were rookie free agent defensive back Charles Frank from Oklahoma; linebacker Tom Homco from Northwestern; defensive back Everett Nichollas from Mississippi Valley State; tackle Randy Schneider from Indiana; wide receiver John Pinckney from Stanford and wide receiver Hendricks Johnson from Northern Arizona.
