Kings Fail to Reach Their Goals Again, So Fans Get in Their Jabs

Share

Your misguided article, “Nightmare on Manchester” (April 28) once again rallies on the lack of knowledge your paper and Los Angeles hockey fans have when it comes to the rules of the game. Any time the referee loses sight of the puck (as Bill McCreary did in Game 5) the whistle blows and play is stopped. The whistle blew and play stopped clearly before Corey Millen shot. Both King announcers agreed with the call on the television broadcast.

Wake up, Los Angeles. One shot doesn’t make a season. Bruce McNall is no George Steinbrenner: Money can’t and won’t buy a Stanley Cup.
