Ray LeBlanc posted his second shutout of the tournament and Dave Jensen had two goals and one assist as Team USA stayed in contention at the hockey World Championships with a 5-0 victory over Poland at Bratislava, Czechoslovakia. In Prague, Andrei Kovalenko and Vladimir Malakhov scored two goals apiece as Russia beat France, 8-0, to stay atop Pool B.
