Happy Again: Former “Charlie’s Angels” star Kate Jackson, 43, says in the latest issue of People magazine that she’s cancer-free, happy and making a comeback. “Twenty-some years after coming to Hollywood, I feel happy. Really happy. I feel like I’m 20 years old again.” In 1987, while starring in the series “Scarecrow and Mrs. King,” Jackson was diagnosed with cancer in her left breast and underwent a lumpectomy. Two years later, a mammogram detected cancer in her left breast, and she underwent a partial mastectomy and reconstructive surgery. “I was forced to face, square up, my own mortality. I had to decide whether I wanted to live or die. And if you choose life, as I did, it’s never the same,” she says.
