Cleaning Up Riot Aftermath

In expressing their anger and frustration, the people have had their temper tantrum. Now we can all pull together to mend the damage and talk and listen.

It made me angry to see little children being taken through these distressed areas and being allowed to loot. They believe the goods are free and everyone else is doing it. This does not make it right. What kind of example is being set and what message is being sent?

At our preschool, even the very young are involved in keeping our classrooms attractive and in order. This is “community involvement” and they take pride in what they feel is really theirs.

Can’t we all be like the example set by Olmos and pick up a broom and clean up starting now? Or do we sit back in shame and disgust? The choice is ours.
