Cleaning Up Riot Aftermath

Share

This is not a riot. This is not a rebellion. This is urban suicide.

This is a desperate city, alone with its pain and drowning in an abyss of desperation. This is a city that is saying “Notice me!” “Hear me!” “I’m in pain!” This is a city so consumed by hopelessness it will cripple and mutilate itself because there is no quality of life. Nothing has changed and nothing will change. The future holds only more pain, more anguish.

We should have listened to the cry for help when we had the chance because once the gun is fired, you can’t stop the bullet, and laying blame is only a game of “pass the guilt.”
