Pop Album Chart : Kriss Kross Pushes Def Leppard Aside

Atlanta rap duo Kriss Kross’ “Totally Krossed Out” jumps to the top of the Billboard magazine pop album chart this week, dislodging Def Leppard’s “Adrenalize,” which had held the No. 1 spot since it was released six weeks ago. “Krossed Out” also moves to the lead on the R&B; album chart, making a hat trick for Kriss Kross.

* It’s been six years since Lionel Richie has released a new album, but his fans haven’t abandoned him: His mostly greatest-hits package, “Back to Front,” debuts this week at No. 26.
