CORONADO : Fine of $30,000 for Mishandling PCBs
A Florida firm was fined $30,000 Wednesday after pleading guilty to mishandling PCBs at North Island Naval Air Station, the U.S. attorney’s office said.
Quadrex Transform Services pleaded guilty to three counts of violating PCB regulations for failing to properly identify, store and document drums of PCBs that had been removed from transformers at North Island, authorities said.
