Conference to Promote Economic Cooperation
A San Gabriel Valley Commerce and Cities Consortium conference May 27, “Forging the Future,” will study issues influencing the area’s economic growth and stability.
The consortium aims to develop a working relationship among San Gabriel Valley cities and businesses. Members include the cities of Alhambra, Baldwin Park, Duarte, Industry, Irwindale, Monrovia, Pasadena, San Marino, Temple City and West Covina; 12 businesses; the Alhambra and West Covina chambers of commerce; Pasadena City College, and City of Hope National Medical Center.
The conference will be from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Pasadena Ritz-Carlton Huntington Hotel. Tickets are $65, and reservations can be made by calling (818) 570-5030.
