Culver City : Budget Sessions Scheduled

Share

Faced with an expected income shortfall of nearly $3 million in the 1992-93 fiscal year, the Culver City Council has planned a series of budget study sessions with city department heads. The meetings, scheduled on Saturdays and Wednesdays, are open to the public.

Revenue estimates show the city is entering its third year of little or no growth in revenues despite increases in the cost of services, said Jody Hall-Esser, chief administrative officer, in her budget report delivered to the council this week.

The study sessions will deal with budget priorities and community service needs for the year, which begins July 1. The formal public hearing on the budget is planned for June 22.
