LANCASTER : Suspect Sought in Stabbing Death
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies were searching Friday for the killer of a Lancaster man who was stabbed to death, perhaps as his car was being stolen.
Gary Allen Bailey, 41, was attacked in the 700 block of Milling Street about 12:30 a.m. Friday and died about an hour later at Antelope Valley Hospital Medical Center, Deputy Bill Martin said.
It was unclear how many times Bailey was stabbed or what prompted the attack. Bailey’s 1976 Chevrolet Suburban was reported missing and detectives suspect the killer may have used the vehicle to escape.
