Racism and Riots in the Southland

Share

While everyone seems to be criticizing the Simi Valley jury and Los Angeles Police Chief Daryl Gates for their racist leanings, I would like to address another aftershock.

As I drive along Anaheim Street in Long Beach while on my way to work every day, I am in constant awe of the multitude of businesses boarded up as a result of Long Beach’s version of the Los Angeles rampage.

Let’s focus on an unquestionable fact. The hoodlums who wantonly destroyed Korean businesses in Los Angeles and the terrorists who demolished Cambodian merchants’ stores in Long Beach are the real racists, not the party of 12 who handed down the now celebrated verdict on Rodney King.
