Doctor on Call: NBC has given a June 15 start date to “Doctor Dean,” a new half-hour daily series featuring Dr. Dean Edell, who has been dispensing health and medical advice on a popular radio show since 1987. “Doctor Dean,” which will be taped before an audience in San Francisco, succeeds “One on One With John Tesh” on NBC’s daytime schedule. Tesh’s show bows out June 12.
