A daylong workshop for nonprofit agencies serving the Latino community will be held at 8 a.m. today to demonstrate how they can gain better access to the Latino media. The workshop, “Practicing Public Relations in Recessionary Times,” will be co-hosted by the United Way of Greater Los Angeles and the Hispanic Public Relations Assn. and held at the Davidson Conference Center on the USC campus, 3551 University Ave. For more information, call Ruby Barcklay at (213) 736-1348.
