Mt. McKinley Rescue Planned for Climbers

ANCHORAGE —
National Park Service rangers on Friday were trying to mount a helicopter rescue of two German climbers injured at the 18,600-foot level of Mt. McKinley, the Park Service reported. One reportedly had a severe head injury sustained in a fall and the other suffered from frostbite.
