Husband and Wife Get Teacher of Year Honors

West Covina husband and wife educators Dee and Barry Porter have each won Teacher of the Year honors.

Dee Porter, who teaches business office skills for the East San Gabriel Valley Regional Occupational Program, was honored by the California Assn. of Regional Occupational Centers/Programs, Olympic chapter.

Barry Porter, coordinator of boys athletics at West Covina High School, was honored by his school.
