People like (Addison) DeBoi should be commended for their dedication and struggle to abide by the law. It is most true that campaign candidates’ sign posting has gotten out of hand. The number of signs cluttering our streets and private properties is enormous. Signs should be posted to inform the voters, not to bombard them with sign pollution.

Deboi’s action will hopefully persuade all candidates to conform and adhere to city law. If prospective city officials can’t adhere to city laws, can we really trust them to be part of local government? Let’s do like Mr. DeBoi. Obey the law and take down those illegally placed signs.
