‘Guiding Light’ Marks 40 Years With Special

Daytime soap opera “Guiding Light” will break into prime time on June 12 when CBS celebrates the show’s 40th anniversary.
“Guiding Light: The Prime-Time Special” will feature appearances by current and former cast members, plus clips of story highlights over the years.
“Guiding Light” began as a 15-minute radio serial on Jan. 25, 1937.
