SANTA MONICA : Actor Glenn Ford Is Taken Off Critical List
Actor Glenn Ford, who developed pneumonia while hospitalized with an irregular heartbeat and blood clots, has been taken off the critical list, his doctors said Friday.
The 76-year-old actor, who has been at St. John’s Hospital and Health Center in Santa Monica for about three weeks, took a turn for the worse a week ago when he developed pneumonia, and his doctors were not hopeful.
But he has since greatly improved, although he remains in the intensive care unit, said his cardiologist, Dr. Carter Newton.
