PALMDALE : Lease OKd for Golf Course at Airport
The Los Angeles Board of Airport Commissioners voted unanimously Monday to negotiate a lease agreement with the city of Palmdale to build an 18-hole golf course on vacant land at Palmdale Regional Airport.
Palmdale had requested the lease to build a golf course, driving range, restaurant, cocktail bar and associated facilities on 180 acres of airport property at the northwest corner of 50th Street East and Avenue P.
The lease would be for 40 years.
